>> THE PROCESS
A Modern Elegance Reflecting Their Love.
Color palette customization and typeface selection was thoughtfully applied to reflect a modern elegance. This also translate to the tactile attributes of the paper selection which consisted of organic handmade rice paper from South East Asia.
The collection of invitations and detail cards were printed on vellum, hand cut, glued and pressed for 48 + hours. The Packaging for the wedding details is a custom dieline individually inked & cut by machine. This process took over 40 hours and was done for 120+ invitations. This choice was made to ensure a high quality product. The belly band includes the couples initials and date of marriage. The information is elegantly type set on vanilla linen paper. Each band followed a similar process as the detail package. I manufactured 4 different embossing and de-bossing plates. The invitations were pressed individually to create a letterpress effect.
All elements were enclosed by premium cotton terracotta envelopes handmade in Australia and each guests information was typeset and printed in white ink.
